Preparations and anticipation

Lufthansa will take delivery of its first Airbus A380 in the summer of 2009. Even though hitches in the aircraft’s ambitious development process will delay delivery, Lufthansa remains convinced that the A380, which forms the backbone of the company’s growth strategy, will be a success story.

Until then, preparations are continuing apace in all Lufthansa’s business areas.“We want our customers to experience the highest quality and a reliable service from day one – on the ground and in the air. In order to achieve that, we must have the sort of high-performance processes in place that you get during Formula 1 pit stops.”

We will keep you updated here on the latest progress.
