The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus already has well over 150 orders for the A380 on its books. One in ten of these modern wide-bodied jets will be delivered to Lufthansa. With 15 firm orders and a further five options, the German carrier will thus operate the largest A380 fleet in Europe.

A380 creates new jobs

Each of the 15 Airbus A380s ordered by Lufthansa will create as many jobs as two average medium-sized enterprises in Germany.
